Zumba® Fitness is like no other workout you will ever experience!
Zumba® Fitness was created in the mid-90’s by Colombian native Alberto “Beto” Perez, a celebrity fitness trainer and choreographer for International pop superstars. Inspired by the traditional cumbia, salsa, samba and merengue music he grew up with, Beto paired his favorite pulsating Latin rhythms with the red-hot international dance steps his clients loved and Zumba® Fitness (Spanish slang for “to move fast and have fun”) was born!
Since Beto brought Zumba® Fitness to the US in 1999, it has become one of the fastest-growing, dance-based fitness crazes in the country, with people of all ages falling in love with its infectious music, easy-to-follow dance moves, and body-beautifying benefits.

Website Details: I met Sue Tucker after attending a few of her Zumba Classes in 2007. I approached Sue with an idea of working on her website, which at the time was only one page. I offered to "spice it up". I put together the ZumbaJunkie.com website in 3 days. I had so much fun creating and designing the website. I gave Sue a sample demo of my final work and she loved it. I think I made her speechless. She was so happy with the layout and style of the
website. After receiving the green light from Sue, I finalized the loose ends and final touches to the website. On January 20, 2008, the ZumbaJunkie Website went live and online over the World Wide Web. Since its launching on the Internet, the website has received wonderful reviews and admiration from fellow Junkies and friends of the Tallahassee Zumba Community. Although the website receives many visitors each day, it remains a work in progress. Visitors stop by from not only places
in the United States, but also from locations in foreign countries too.
I am not a Web Designer nor computer programmer, just an enthusiast who loves to work on the computer. One of my favorite hobbies is to have fun with creating websites. ZumbaJunkie.com is Sue's concept derived from her passion for Zumba. I was merely the tool to help her voice and promote her fitness talent, enthusiam and energy - all for the love of Zumba. My small particiption was in creating a fun and newsworthy
website. I'd like to thank Sue for giving me the chance to show her my creative genius and allowing me to continue to work on her website as the WebJunkie. Thank you all for visiting and supporting ZumbaJunkie.com. Please send feedback, comments or any additional information for this website to the Webjunkie.
For questions about Zumba and ZumbaJunkie's Events and Activities, contact Sue Tucker at 850-556-5922. Show your love by ditching the old workout and joining the Zumba party.
